Well it is that time again for another round-up of Android games on sale this weekend. There is actually not a huge difference between this week’s mid-week round-up and this one besides a few additions to the list like the Construction Simulator 2014 and Hot Springs Story.
Welcome to another mid-week round-up of Android games that are on sale right now. So far this week there is a good collection of games on sale, a lot of which are discounted quite a bit such as Final Fantasy IV: After Year which is $5 off and Might & Magic Clash of Heroes which has $4 off its normal price.
Yesterday in our article about King and all the crap they are going through, we comments that it is always fun times in the gaming industry and apparently Rovio is having some fun times of their own. Last week King, the developers of Candy Crush Saga and publisher of numerous browser-based games, made headlines a few times for a few different reasons. First it was about the company trademarking the word ‘Candy’, then going after another game called The Banner Saga for its use of the word Saga, and then it was about a developer accusing King of publishing a copy of their game.
Puzzle & Dragons by GungHo Entertainment has already held some pretty interesting cross-over events in the recent past. So far we have had an Angry Birds cross-over event as well as two Batman Arkham Origins events in Puzzle & Dragons as well. Now we get to announce another cross-over event of epic cuteness, Hello Kitty is invading Puzzle & Dragons.

In the world of mash-up games there really is no end to the possibilities that can come about from mixing multiple genres into one title. Most of the time it works out rather well although there are a few mash-ups that end up being pretty bad. Pinball Block Breaker Craft isn’t a bad mash-up by any means but it certain is one of the more unique ones we’ve seen so far.

The developers of Candy Crush Saga have been in the news a lot over the last few days and not for any particular good reason. King made headlines over the recent trademarking of the word ‘Candy’ and then made even more headlines by trying to go after the developers of The Banner Saga because they used the word ‘Saga’, another word that King has trademarked.
The developer of the rather lonesome atmospheric game Don’t Starve has turned his sights onto mobile gaming. The developer Klei has started to consider bringing the hit indie game to new platforms, all of which happen to be mobile ones including Android.
