Telltale Games’ upcoming mini-series The Walking Dead: Michonne is something we’ve reported on a couple of times already, having been keeping our eye on its development. Well it looks like Telltale Games is finally close to being ready to release this little series onto the world as they have finally announces a premier date for it.
Back in June 2015 we reported on DotEmu who has announced that they would be bringing the second installment into the Ys Chronicles franchise to Android in the near future. Well today is that ‘near future’ as Ys Chronicles II is now available for Android devices on Google Play.
Over the holidays Square Enix sneakily released a new video on their Japanese YouTube channel for Final Fantasy IX. Normally this wouldn’t be a massive big deal except for the fact that this trailer is actually for the mobile and PC version of Final Fantasy IX. That’s right, Zidane and friends will be arriving onto smartphones soon.
Joycity’s rather popular Monopoly-style multiplayer board game called Game of Dice has received a pretty big update themed around pirates. For those of you not familiar with this game, Game of Dice is essentially a combination of Monopoly gameplay, but mixed with TCG mechanics and RPG elements to round everything out.
Fedeen Games has begun teasing what will be a pretty big expansion for their MMORPG Forsaken World Mobile game. While the developers haven’t gone into deep detail about what will be arriving just yet, they do hint at what will be in the update including things like the new ‘Epic Dungeon’. It’s more like a massive world event really.
GungHo Entertainment has pushed out an update for their popular Puzzle-RPG title Puzzle & Dragons which adds a whole new multiplayer mode to the game. With this new mode, two players can join forces to take on dungeons in a co-op style of multiplayer gameplay.
Fans of MMORPGs have a new game to look forward to on Android soon called Pocket Guild from indie developers Sad Herring. Unlike other MMORPGs though, this one is a single-player game. How does that work? Mainly by making this game basically an MMORPG simulator of sorts. All of the content you would find in an MMORPG is here, except you’re the only actual real live player in the game.
Generally people like to point out the pricing Square Enix does with their mobile games, mainly because it doesn’t follow the $0.99-$2.99 price range most games fall under. Instead their titles are usually $7.99-$15.99 in price. However for a limited time you now have a chance to snag Final Fantasy 2 for Android for the discounted price of FREE.
Revenant Dogma is the newest RPG from Kemco to land onto Android today. This is one of those games from Kemco that features the more retro style of visuals for when you are doing everything but the combat. When you actually are in combat, then everything takes a more modern 3D look to it.
Gameloft’s mobile MMORPG called Order & Chaos 2 has received plenty of new content and features today thanks to the arrival of the Spring Festival update. Coming with this update are new companions, cards, guild upgrades, dungeons, and much more.
