7th Road, the create of the browser-based MMO Wartune, has signed a deal with Kabam to bring the game over to mobile devices soon. You may remember Wartune being in the news before on various gaming websites as the games rating board ESRB critizied the company for using ads to promote their game that were not really true to the actual game mechanics. These ads depicted almost nude anime women saying something suggestive to lure people into playing the game thinking it was a more adult-based theme.

Back in April of this year we talked about a rather cool looking old school style arcade beat-em-up game called NES-Retku. The storyline to this game is a bit crazy and doesn’t follow the usual stroylines for these types of games where you’re usually rescuing your girlfriend who has been kidnapped or seeking revenge for whatever wrong has happened to you.
There are a few rules in life that everyone should be following. This includes things like not running with knives and scissors. Apparently you aren’t support to run with a plasma sword as well. Who knew? However the game Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword will be making the leap from iOS to Android in the very near future.
This upcoming Thursday is starting to look real good in terms of game releases on Android. The newest one to make the list is the tactical squad-based strategy game Breach & Clear which we ave been following since we found out about it. Originally this game was going to be free-to-play but the developers did not want the game mechanics and fun to be ruin so they switched to making the game a full paid title instead.
Project Phoenix is an interesting mix of genres, sporting squad-based RTS gameplay meshed with RPG elements and storylines heavily influenced by the entire JRPG genre. To accomplish this feat, almost everyone on the entire development team from both the East and the West have worked on major Triple-A titles ranging from Diablo 3 to various Final Fantasy games, Halo to L.A. Noire and everything in between.
Witching Hour Studios has officially announced that Ravenmark: Mercenaries is coming to Android. Actually we had confirmation about both their Ravenmark games coming to Android awhile back when we first reported on both games. However now we get the pleasure to announce that the company has opened up slots for closed beta testing for Ravenmark: Mercenaries.
During the GameStop Expo, pretty much every Android console maker was there. Ouya, of course, would be one of those companies and the biggest thing they were promoting was the upcoming The Walking Dead game which TellTale Games will be bringing to Ouya later this year.
Frogmind Games has announced that they will be bringing their multi-award winning atmospheric action platformer Badland to Android in the near future. For those of you not familiar with this game, Badland has been available on iOS for a bit now, netting over 7 million downloads in the process. Now Android games will soon be able to get their hands on it.
You may have noticed that we haven’t posted much the past couple of days. That was because we had plenty of meetings over the past couple of days as well as some events to go to. Here in Las Vegas, GameStop held their annual expo which is sort of like a mini E3 and believe it or not, this year’s expo had a decent amount of mobile news.
OrangePixel has been working on a Gauntlet style for quite some time now called Heroes of Loot. Up until now we haven’t really had a solid release date for this game but thanks to a tweet over on their Twitter account today, we now know that Heroes of Loot will be arriving onto Android on September 12th, 2013 and possibly Ouya as well on the same day.
