MachineWorks Northwest has told our friends over at PocketGamer that they are working on currently making Duke Nukem 3D optimized for the Xperia Play which should make anyone who owns that device and the game pretty happy. However, there is even more good news for all people playing this game.
Sony Ericsson has released a new trailer for the upcoming addition to the FIFA series of games, FIFA 12. This will be one of those temporary exclusives for the Xperia Play which, if it follows the typical style of the temporary exclusive this devices get, should be available about a month after launch for other Android devices.
It’s nothing new for Kristen Schaal to be doing Xperia Play promo videos anymore and, although generally funny most of the time, Kristen Schaal doing a 9mm Xperia Play promo video had me guessing this was going to be a bit funnier than normally. I certainly wasn’t wrong.
We already knew about Lara Croft making her way onto Android back in September but the good news is we now have screenshots from the actual Android version. This won’t be the only game though coming to the Xperia Play next as a temporary exclusive. Reckless Racing 2 from Polarbit will be as well.
Kristen Schaal has been appearing in more Xperia Play ads again, the last one we featured being the one with Kristen talking about building some sort of monument for her in Minecraft and the contest surrounding it. Now MLG Pro Circuit gamer, TSquared, is in on the action.
INC is a game from our friends at OrangePixel that we have been watching as it gets developed with interest. Really bringing it back to the old school gaming days, INC is a great retro-platform game that now has a couple of release dates for us to tell you about!
Two days ago we announced that Rockstar would be bringing Grand Theft Auto 3 to select Android (and iOS) devices this Fall and the devices listed were all dual-core ones. However, Rockstar got in touch with Kotaku yesterday to let them know it would eventually make it to older iOS devices as well.
Gameloft has announced that they will, indeed, be bringing over the Xperia Play optimized versions of their games over to the Android Market soon. Originally these optimized games have remained on Gameloft’s own storefront while their normal Android HD games have slowly been making their way onto the market.
Sony Ericsson and EA have teamed up to bring owners of the Xperia Play four games for free for a short period of time. Well actually it’s not that short of a period of time so even if you don’t have an Xperia Play but plan on getting one in the near future, you can still take advantage of this offer.
Yesterday we reported on SilverTree’s new game, Sleepy Jack, and that it would be landing on the Android Market sometime this weekend. Apparently by weekend they meant today as Sleepy Jack is now available on the Android Market. There is one catch though…
