Yongzh may have gotten his account closed and emulators pulled off the Android Market but that hasn’t stopped Mr. emulator himself from going elsewhere and continuing on with his emulators and updating them. One update, however, brings a really awesome feature: multiple bluetooth controller support.
Two stories that came out this weekend, actually late Friday, are pretty interesting. The first is about an iOS developer who saw a staggering 91% piracy rate for their game on the App Store. This shows that Android isn’t the only one that suffers from piracy. The second story is about Yonghz and his emulators which were pulled off the market.
It seems as though noted emulator guru ZodTTD has teamed up with Yonghz (Android emulator guru) and are currently working on a Playstation emulator for Android phones. Yes, a playstation emulator. This means all those games you loved to play when the Playstation was the best there was out you can now play on your Android phone. FFVII anyone?
While taking a break from all the Google I/O craziness and instead taking a quick look around the Android market to see what’s new I stumbled upon an interesting utility app for gamers, especially those who are fans of using emulators. ROM Buddy, developed by MoMojo, lets you download any ROM you like for whatever emulator you have on your Android phone.
