2D Boy has announced today that their popular game, World of Goo, will be heading to Android in the very near future. Apparently this has been in the works for some time as the Android version, GooDroid, is already in the final stages of testing and bug fixes.

Following up on the news of The Silent Age coming to Android, House of Fire has a second titles gearing up for release called Neon Zone. This is a physics-based puzzle game where you solve each stage by tilting your device, or bumping it, in order to move a block around to collect the glowing dots.
House of Fire is developing a great looking game for Android (and iOS) called The Silent Age that is heading our way soon. Described as a minimalist point-and-click game, you will be traveling through time between present day and 1971 to solve puzzles.
Ex-CEO of Mythic, Mark Jacobs, has decided to come out of a 2 year hiatus and open up a new game development studio called City State Entertainment which will specialize in casual games geared towards mobile platforms including Android and iOS. They even have one already in the works set for release in Q4 2011.
Maximum Racer is a 3D racing game that has seen some pretty good results on the iOS platform but the developers, NekoNeko, are not stopping their and are bringing Maximum Racer over to Android. This version will have some features exclusive to the Android platform only.
