PUBG: New State Has Launched on the Play Store

It’s been a long time coming, but PUBG: New State, Krafton’s reboot of the original battle royale franchise, has finally landed on the Play Store. You can go and download it, like right now.

The game is set in the future and adds a whole swathe of new ideas and content to the franchise. There’s a story, for one thing, and some new modes and a season pass too.

There are also a whole bunch of events running to celebrate the game’s global launch. There’s too many to type out here, but they mainly take the shape of login and play-time goodies and rewards. You can check them all out here on the PUBG: New State website.

There are various reports of login issues occurring, which shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise since about 50 million people pre-registered for the game. That’s not even a facetious over-exaggeration.

If you’d like to try your hand at PUBG: New State, you can click here to download it from the Play Store. It’s free with IAP, and you’ll need at least 1.4GB to install it.
