Gameloft just announced that the long awaited sequel to the great FPS (first-person shooter) game called N.O.V.A is now available for the Xperia Play. N.O.V.A 2 will be exclusive to the Xperia Play for at least 1 month before it lands on any other supported Android devices. If you enjoyed the first, you’ll want the second.
Improving on the first in a lot of ways, N.O.V.A 2 comes complete with new multiplayer modes (5 of them) over 10 maps with up to 10 people playing in multiplayer. On top of that there are vehicles (including giant mechs!) and a career ranking/perks system in place as well. Mesh that with even better 3D graphics, more weapons with special abilities and much more and you have yourself a solid title you will want to play on your Xperia Play.
After it’s short stint at being exclusive to the Xperia Play, it will be made available to other Android devices and even though you won’t have the great Xperia Play game controls to use, the game itself functions really well on a touchscreen although on a tablet is better. If you are in a country where the Xperia Play has launched, you’ll be able to get it. As the Xperia Play launches elsewhere, the game will be made available in those countries as well.
