You probably just read the title and thought to yourself that this must be a typo and that we meant to say tower defense but we actually mean tower offense. Ironically called Age of Defenders, this browser-based multiplayer game is a tower offense game and it’s gearing up for release on Android.

There is a neat looking fighter game, and by fighter game we mean head-to-head combat like in Street Fighter, that is being developed by Oora! Games called Samurai Gachin. It comes in a black, grey and white color scheme which gives it a pretty cool dark artsy look to it.
It seems this is a busy week for Lodsys as more and more developers are coming out to reveal that they have received the patent infringement welcome package from Lodsys over the last couple of days. Newest one to add to the list is Micabyte and their game Pirates and Traders.
Herocraft has just released a new Hidden Objects game called Musaic Box with a detective theme to it. While it’s a hidden objects game at heart, it is also a music puzzle game as well. Your goal in this game is to find an old organ master who has mysteriously vanished.
With Kal-El tablets nearing release later this year and phones coming in early 2012, nVidia has released a couple of new whitepapers with more information about the Kal-El chipset. One interesting fact from the paper notes that Kal-El isn’t really quad-core but instead actually has a total of five cores.
Last year we reported on a little gem of a game called Hero Mages that won an award last year for Technical Excellence over at indiePUB. Developed by D20Studios, Hero Mages is a multiplayer turn-based tactics-style strategy game that is cross-platform compatible so you can play it on your PC browser or your Android device.
Sparkin’ Apps has announced that it will be bringing it’s Monster Warrior game over to Android soon. Monster Warrior is a Fruit Ninja style game where you have to slide monster heads as they come onto your screen using swipe gestures similar to Fruit Ninja.
Yesterday it seemed as though Amazon had finally opened up the App Store for Android to the entire world making many people very happy. Unfortunately this was too good to be true to last and Amazon has shut down the service for everyone outside of the US once again.
