Sony has made good on its promise to start delivering the Ice Cream Sandwich update to its 2011 Xperia smartphones. As of right now, Ice Cream Sandwich is available for the Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V and the Xperia ray. If you own one of these devices and happen to live in either Sweden, Iceland, Demark, Finland or Norway, feel free to start the update process now.

We talked about this game coming to Android (and iOS) awhile ago and since then it has been under constant development. Well it looks like development of TSG’s upcoming MMORPG for Android called Destiny of Ares is nearing completion and they have announced a release time for it.
Gamefly is looking to expand their business which currently has been fairly successful with the game rental end of things. However, what they are looking at in terms of expansion is to move into mobile games for both Android and iOS, starting with funding game developers.
While we patiently wait for the promised upcoming multiplayer update, Madfinger Games have been taking a break from the spotlight. While they’ve kept the hungry and potential rioting mobile gamers at bay with the “Leftover” expansion pack, I, among many others, have been getting an itch to blast away more enemies.
Only a few days ago Hexage, developers of some great Android games like EVAC and Robotek, announced that their newest game would be a tower defense title called Radiant Defense. Built around the Radiant world, which you may have first experienced in the shooter of the same name, Hexage has announced that Radiant Defense is now available on the Google Play store.
Way back in August of 2011 we talked about a great looking indie puzzle game that was slated to be released on Android soon called Treemaker for Mikrotie. If you follow us on a regular basis then you know how much we love checking out indie games that have something unique to them whether it is the theme of the game or the visuals.
Back in February of this year we reported on a great looking combat racing game called Death Rally from Remedy Entertainment. Having been released onto other platforms, Death Rally boasts some pretty impressive numbers such as the game having been played on other platforms a total of 60 million times by over 5 million gamers.
Like a middle child, mobile games are constantly vying for our attention. Every week there is a new shipment of mobile games propping themselves on our desks and demands to be played. While we do have dedicated reviewers, sometimes the games can be just as engaging as reviewing your W-2 forms.
