Back in the beginning of February 2012 SilverTree Media released a new Cordy themed game onto Android called Cordy Sky. Shortly after reporting on the game’s release it mysteriously disappeared from the Google Play store for some reason. Well it now seems to be back and staying put this time.
Cordy Sky is a completely different type of game when compared to the original Cordy which was a 3D platformer. Cordy Sky is a vertical jumping game in similar style to other jumping games like Doodle Jump or Abduction!. The goal is to jump as high as you can, collecting coins along the way and using power-ups / boosters to help make your progress a little easier. Of course there are plenty of obstacles in the way in an attempt to make your vertical journey a lot shorter.
As with all games from SilverTree Media, Cordy Sky is lathered in some great 3D visuals as well. Of course if you are looking for another platformer like the original Cordy was you might not be too happy with where the series has gone in this new title. For those of you interested in snatching up Cordy Sky, you can download the game for free off of the Google Play store. It is supported with optional in-game purchases for boosters and other items if you want to use them.
