PC first-person Mech shooter Hawken shown running on an Asus Transformer Prime

Back during the GTC 2012 conference where nVidia dropped the news about their upcoming cloud gaming platform GeForce Grid, there was plenty of other gaming news of the cloud variety during the nVidia keynote as well including a preview of the PC-based multiplayer FPS game Hawken running on an Asus Transformer Prime thanks to cloud gaming service Gaikai.

Gaikai recently made news that they would be coming integrated into the upcoming WikiPad Android tablet that features glasses-free 3D visuals. It looks like Gaikai is seriously considering pushing into mobile gaming even more after watching this video. Gaikai is a cloud gaming service that offers up Triple-A titles you can play via the cloud, similar to OnLive.

Hawken isn’t a plain old FPS game either. It is actually a graphically intensive mech-filled FPS game that requires an above average PC to play and fully enjoy the graphics and gameplay. When Hawken arrives in December 2012, Asus Transformer Prime owners, along with other Tegra-based devices, will be able to play the game with their PC brethren through Gaikai.
