Sony seems to have sprung a bit of a leak today and it appears this leak deals with a new Xperia branded tablet and it looks pretty promising. This new Sony tablet looks like it will be the next gen device for the company over their previous two tablets and will come sporting a Tegra 3 chipset.

Yesterday we reported on ZTE who had been teasing the world for the past week about unveiling an ‘advanced gaming smartphone’ for Android. Today ZTE has unveiled their new Android phone called the Grand X and if this is what an ‘advanced gaming smartphone’ is supposed to be, they should have released it last year.
Archos is a company that is most recently known for producing an affordable line of Android 4.0 tablets. It will continue this trend with the introduction of new line of tablets that will carry a branding Archos is calling “Elements.” The first tablet from the Elements line is called the Archos 97 carbon.
The last time we wrote about Ematic, the company was selling its eGlide Prism tablet for just under $160 on ShopNBC. Today Ematic is back with another Android 4.0 tablet, but it’s even cheaper than its previous offering. The eGlide Steal will be sold for $119.95 from online retailers such as Walmart.
Android purists swear that stock Android is the way to go. This is especially true for Android 4.0 since it is much sleeker and lighter than most skins manufacturers place on their devices. There’s at least one more Android skin on the way next month, this time from Huawei. The Emotion UI is set to debut on June 9, and will be placed on the first Huawei device in July.
Back during the GTC 2012 conference where nVidia dropped the news about their upcoming cloud gaming platform GeForce Grid, there was plenty of other gaming news of the cloud variety during the nVidia keynote as well including a preview of the PC-based multiplayer FPS game Hawken running on an Asus Transformer Prime thanks to cloud gaming service Gaikai.
Well all of you Xperia Play owners out there have something to rage about this lovely Friday as Sony has confirmed that there will be no Android 4.0 update coming to the Xperia Play. They have a reason for this but everyone should still rage just a bit.
nVidia has reveal their newest platform, called Kai, which is apparently going to bring to market those $199 quad-core Tegra 3 Android 4.0 tablets we have been hearing rumors about over the past month or two. More specifically, the rumored Google Nexus tablet which has been rumored to be a quad-core tablet that will sell for $199.
It looks like the pre-orders for Samsung’s newest high-end Android phone, the Galaxy S III, has jumped the borders of the UK and are now available for U.S. residents to pre-order. Both the white and blue models are up on Amazon for pre-order at a cost of $799 and up.
The wait is almost over for HTC Sensation 4G owners on T-Mobile. The carrier has confirmed that Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 3.6 will be pushed to the Sensation 4G starting on May 16. A previous report suggested the update would not arrive until June. It appears as if the HTC Amaze 4G will receive its ICS update around that time instead.
