Vivid Games is more known for some of their movie-based games on Android but today sees the release of something a little different from these developers. Called Neon Blitz, this is a puzzle game which takes some influence from Burn The Rope but switches it up into a time-based race against the clock puzzle game.

Frima Studios announced a few new games that they would be releasing soon and two of them happen to be Android games. A Space Shooter Blitz and Nun Attack will both be making their way to Android this September which means you will be shooting enemies either in space, or as a peaceful nun who isn’t so peaceful anymore.
A rather neat application was release about a week ago called GamePlan. Developed by DesignerApps, this particular utility application is pretty much the Swiss Army knife for gaming when it comes to planning out strategies whether it is against opponents in an MMORTS game or PvPing in an MMORPG or just straight up PvE raiding.
After a few months of waiting after our initial preview for Mediocre’s next game Granny Smith, it has finally made its way onto the Google Play store today. From the developers of Sprinkle, Granny Smith has you playing as an apple loving granny who also doesn’t take kindly to anyone trying to steal her apples.
Red Bull has a few sponsored games out already on Android, mostly in the realm of motor-sports. However their newest game is a sports game, themed around their actual Red Bull Balcony Shot event and is appropriately named Urban Futbol.
In the new tradition we have started where we end up posting about weird games on Wednesdays, which we officially dubbed Weird Wednesday, we bring to you this gem of a game called Farts vs Zombies. To make things just a bit weirder, the game also features Unicorns although judging from what the Unicorn does to you, they really are not that friendly.
One racing game a lot of people are eager to get their hands on is the upcoming Real Racing 3 title from EA. Developed by Firemonkeys, this looks to be the best racing game yet for mobile device, at least in the eye candy department. Today you get to drool all over the new trailer which features four different Porsche cars, all of which you wish you owned.
While most manufacturers enjoy coming up with cool names for their Android devices, for the most part anyways, Sony seems content in just using letters from the alphabet. Eventually they will run out of letters to use and actually have to think up a name or two. Until then though, Sony has announced a new line of Xperia phones, appropriately named the Xperia V, Xperia J and the flagship phone, the Xperia T.
The recently leaked Xperia Tablet that will be coming from Sony has been officially announced during Sony’s press event as IFA 2012 starts up today. The 9.4″ Tegra 3 quad-core tablet was leaked out back in July of this year and looked pretty promising back then. Now we have a full rundown of the specs it will be coming with.
Archos is looking to take a piece of the Android gaming pie, at least in terms of hardware, and in the process will end up being the direct competitor of the Wikipad gaming tablet with Archos’ newly announced GamePad tablet. This Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet will feature a full set of gaming controls, attached to either side of the tablet.
