While the world waited with baited breath as announcements were pouring out of Google I/O yesterday, a small message appeared on the Twitter feed of Versus Evil. “We couldn’t be happier to see #BannerSaga by @StoicStudio coming to tablets this summer! Back in October 2014 we reported on Amazon’s game development studio who happen to be working on three new games that would be heading our way in the near future. One of those games has now been released onto Amazon’s AppStore for their line of Fire tablets.
If you happen to be a fan of The Binding of Isaac style of gameplay then you’ll be happy to know that there is a new game on Android called Obslashin’ which brings that same sort of top-down dungeon crawling gameplay to us today. Originally released as a soft launch, today marks the game’s international release for everyone to grab a copy and start hacking at enemies.
The other day the newest Minecraft: Pocket Edition version update was pushed out to users who had been eagerly awaiting all the new visual tweaks and bug fixes that was going to be coming with the release of 0.10.0. It’s okay though, Mojang is on it and version 0.10.1 is slated for release at some point today.

This particular game is a mesh of an RPG with a narrative-style adventure game which features dynamic storytelling, side quests and mini games. This game also features some pretty awesome illustrated art to check out while you’re playing it.
Not to be confused with KungFu Panda, Snail Games recently released gameplay videos at E3 from their upcoming project Taichi Panda. Snail Games is known for PC games such as Age of Wushu and Heroes of Gaia. It is great to see PC game developers creating new projects for mobile devices. The first game play videos make me wish I had Taichi Panda on my mobile device now, but alas, we will all have to wait a little bit longer because it comes out later this year.
