Well, there’s always Android gaming. This week saw several excellent new releases that will do an excellent job of distracting you from all of the festive madness. Here are our favourites.
The best new Android game this week: Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition – Get it
Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is the latest remaster of a Bioware classic by the ever excellent Beamdog. It features all of the original content, including two expansions and three premium modules. It’s also fully backwards compatible and supports cross play on PC and Android.
Command & Conquer: Rivals – Get it
Command & Conquer made a triumphant return this week with Rivals, the latest entry in the smash hit strategy franchise. This one is a mobile exclusive and is tailor made for the platform. So expect short bursts of strategic fun.
Destiny Child – Get it
Destiny Child is an incredibly bizarre new gacha RPG in which you collect a bunch of heroes, known as ‘Childs’, and send them into battle.
Absolute Drift – Get it
Absolute Drift is a minimalist zen racer that features a variety of different modes to drift your way through.
Age of Civilisations II – Get it
Last, but certainly not least, is Age of Civilisations II, the sequel to Android’s world domination strategy game. It’s bigger, it’s better, and you can play it right now.
