The first trailer for Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, which is being developed by Portkey Games and published by Zynga, has just landed.
Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells is a match-three puzzler featuring colored gems, as well as potions, spells, and other magical paraphernalia. More importantly, it features characters and locations from the Harry Potter universe.
The trailer is replete with Harry Potter music, tinkly magic sounds, and popping noises. It also showcases locations like Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, and Platform 9 ¾.
It doesn’t give much away in terms of gameplay, but if you’ve played a matching puzzler in the last ten years you’ve probably got a pretty good idea of what to expect.
We’re not sure exactly when Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells will arrive, but we now have a (slightly) better idea what it will look like.
