The Academy: The First Riddle, a conspicuously Potter-esque puzzle adventure game set in a mystery-drenched school, is available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Developed by Pine Studio and published by Snapbreak, The Academy is being pitched in the promotional material as “Harry Potter meets Professor Layton”, which is a promising combo.
It sees you playing as Sam, an intrepid fresher at Arbor’s famed Academy, solving over 200 puzzles in a campaign that purportedly lasts around 20 hours. That’s ten puzzles an hour. As well as unravelling the school’s secrets, you participate in fun activities and interact with “memorable characters”.
The Academy is due to arrive on June the 19th, and it’ll cost $9.99. If you’re interested, you can pre-register here.
