League of Legends: Wild Rift, Riot Games’s first mobile game based on its seminal League of Legends MOBA franchise, has gone into open beta in several countries across East Asia.
Those countries are the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Japan. Europe, Oceania, Vietnam, and Taiwan will join the party in December.
In addition, Riot Games has released a new gameplay trailer, which you can watch below.
League of Legends: Wild Rift is set to be a mobile-friendly take on the formula. It comes after years of Riot Games insisting that it wouldn’t port its influential MOBA to smartphones, despite other developers doing so very successfully.
In the very likely case that you don’t live in one of the six countries currently enjoying access to League of Legends: Wild Rift, you’ve only got a couple of months to wait.
In the meantime, you can pre-register right now on the Google Play Store.
