Gwent: The Witcher Card Game Is Holding a Winter Holiday Event Until January 5th

Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, CD Projekt’s ultra-popular card-battler that was surgically extracted from The Witcher 3 and spun into a standalone game, is running a Winter Holiday event right now.

The event, which lasts until the 5th of January, sees three old game modes being revived on three consecutive weeks. The modes include Plus One, Momentum, and Battle Rush, all of which will be familiar to longtime fans of Gwent. Gameplay-wise, they’re not wildly different from the main game, but they mix things up enough to be interesting.

In addition to playing these modes, you’ll be able to earn bonus Meteorite Powder for logging in every day throughout the event, and by completing daily quests.

This Meteorite Powder can be spent in the Merry Reward Book page, on festive trinkets like card backs, borders, titles, avatars, and so on.

Lastle, CD Projekt has chucked some offers into the store, including bundles of sweet, sweet loot and a Grandfather Frost leader skin for Ardal aep Dahy.

You can download Gwent: The Witcher Card Game for free right now on the Google Play Store.
