My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge Out Now for Android

My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge is a classy, touch-based shooter that sees you trying to save the family of a – potentially imaginary – talking banana. It’s awesome, and it’s out right now on the Play Store.

The game uses drag controls to let you aim your leaps, then you need to tap to shoot anything that looks at you funny. And you can trust us, everyone in this game is going to look at you funny.

The action is split up into levels, and you’re trying to chain together as many kills as you can to get the best score. When things click, you’re soaring around like Neo in the Matrix, but cooler. Here’s a trailer.

The game is free to download, with an IAP to unlock more features. Those features include reloading from checkpoints. Basically you can play as much of the game as you like in one go, but you’ll need to pay a one off fee to restart anywhere other than the very beginning.

It’s a monetization system that’s probably going to annoy some people, but quite frankly the game is more than worth the $2.99 asking price, and we’re all for it.

You can click here to grab My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge from the Google Play Store right this second.
