For whatever reason, whether it is the mighty dollar or something else, Zeptolab has decided to launch their upcoming sequel Cut The Rope 2 onto iOS exclusively on December 19th, 2013. So what does this mean for Android gamers who are fans of the series and are looking forward to this sequel?

Zeptolabs has gone on an update spree for this holiday season with an update for three of their Cut The Rope games. Currently Cut The Rope: Time Travel, Cut The Rope: Holiday Gift and Cut The Rope: Experiments have all received an update with new content for those of you who play any of these games to work your way through.

Reporting on the upcoming 0.8.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been fun because there’s just so much coming with this update that even the official changelog on Google Play doesn’t mention it all. The update is now here for everyone who have been patiently waiting for it.
Sega has released another addition from their Sonic franchise onto Android and this time it is Sonic The Hedgehog 2. This new version of the game is full remastered for mobile devices so both the visuals and controls have been redone to perform rather nicely on your Android devices of choice.

Halfbrick’s upcoming game Colossatron Massive World Threat has finally gotten a release date announced and the good news is that the company will be releasing the game onto Android and iOS at the same time. Usually Halfbrick releases their games onto iOS first while the Android version follows afterwards and usually a month or two down the road.
Most tower defense games really don’t have a storyline that most gamers would care about. Instead it’s about defending your base with towers that you can upgrade, rinse, repeat, etc, etc. Conjurer: Awoken however is a slightly different type of tower defense game because it actually have a storyline to it that doesn’t suck.
Back at the end of November we mentioned that Rockstar Games was bringing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to mobile devices in December. While we didn’t have an exact release date at the time of writing that article, we did say it sounds like it would be in the next couple of weeks. Well a couple of weeks have pasted and it looks like Rockstar Games is gearing up to release Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas either today or tomorrow.
Chillingo released their Dead Ahead game last week and it is already getting a decent sized update called Reanimated. This update brings a new location to the game called The Slums and along with a new location comes new weapons and even new characters to kill zombies with.
Crytek and DeNA are teaming up to bring a squad-based tactical game to Android called The Collectables. Since Crytek is involved, this game will be made using the company’s Cryengine game development platform which is known for its rather high quality 3D visuals. This means The Collectables should have some pretty impressive graphics to enjoy while playing the game.
A new strategy game is making its way to Android today that will also support cross-platform gameplay between all versions of it. Small World 2 is slated for release today onto PC and Android while the iOS version has already been out since September of this year. This means you’ll be able to play against PC and iOS players as well as Android ones.
