There is a new martial arts themed game on Google Play called Touch of Death which sounds like a bit of a cheesy 1980s ninja movie title. Developed by Sharkbomb Studios, Touch of Death is all about avenging your master and friend who was ruthlessly attacked and killed. As not only his student but his friend as well, you’ll be setting out to take out anyone and everyone involved in this incident.
In more hardware new, PlayJam has issued a statement confirming that the delays they have been experiencing recently which has postponed the shipping of their portable Android-powered game console called the GameStick isn’t a factor anymore. The company says that it will absolutely make the new August deadline for getting units out to those of you who have purchased one already.
Well here is some rather interesting news that has been revealed through and interview between Edge Online and Oculus CEO Brendan Iribe where details trickled out about what the Oculus company is looking at when it comes to supporting other devices. One would think that the next-gen consoles would be of main interest but that isn’t the case at all.
The other day we talked about a rather interesting game called Eternal Descent: Heavy Metal Heroes which just hit the App Store for iOS devices and is coming to Android in the near future. Digital Reality and Grasshopper Manufacture will be bringing their Playstation 3/Xbox 360 shoot ’em up game called Sine Mora over to Android in the very near future. This game was released for consoles in November of last year and is a rather cool 2.5D shooter which, for those of you unfamiliar with what 2.5D is, has the gameplay on two axises while the environment in which you are moving around in is rendered in 3D.
Back in 1988 a block breaking game called Titan was released and eventually became quite popular. Well the franchise is back with a revisited and given an overhaul, almost making it more of a sequel than an actual revamping of the game. In fact Titan has been given a bit of a new name for this version called Titan: Escape the Tower.
Last week we talked about a rather interesting game that would be arriving today called A Thug In Time. Developed by Desctructamobile, this game has arrived right on time and is now available over on Google Play for those of you wanting a little dual-stick time traveling action to check out and enjoy.
A new physics-based puzzle game has arrived onto Google Play called Stay Alight. Developed by WYSE Games, Stay Alight features some pretty impressive visuals that make this a pretty unique physics-based puzzler to play. While the game itself is almost your standard title in this genre, the visuals are what sets this game apart from the others.
Last week we reported on Spacetime Games (formerly Spacetime Studios) and the soft launch of their newest game called Battle Dragons. This particular game is a MMO strategy type of game featuring armies made out of dragons. Like most games of this nature, Battle Dragons also features the city building element as well, where you will need to keep building up your city in order to properly defend it as well as having stronger army units.
