[Update: Game Released] Help Eddie piece his soul back together in the upcoming Iron Maiden RPG called Legacy of the Beast

Set to release this Summer, Legacy of the Beast will be a new free-to-play RPG for fans of the old school heavy metal band Iron Maiden. The band has apparently teamed up with Roadhouse Interactive (Warhammer 40K: Carnage) and 50cc Games, for the creation of this game. In Legacy of the Beast, players will assume the role of the band’s mascot Eddie, and is considered to be a follow-up to Ed Hunter from back in 1999, which was a greatest hits/video game.

Released by FIFO Games, Squiggle Dodge is a new casual game for Android. Squiggle dodge has a minimalist bend to it’s visuals, as players will be controlling a unit that’s basically an arrow head, and dodging lines that traverse the screen from anywhere along the periphery of said screen. Admittedly the visuals of the game look quite nice, despite being so simple.

[Update: Release Date and Trailer] Mi-Clos have revealed their next addition to their Out There franchise and it will be arriving this Summer

Out There is the outer space survival and management game that was released by Mi-Clos onto Android a couple of years back. They have announced that the game is slated to get a prequel of sorts, that will arrive in the next couple of months. The story behind this is that players will assume the role of a person who was put into a deep slumber/stasis, only to wake up a full one million years later. Oh, and you don’t awaken on Earth.

Grim Fandango Review: An entertaining romp through the afterlife

Grim Fandango is a point-and-click adventure game that was originally developed and released by Lucas Arts for Windows, back in ’98. It was a game that has always intrigued me from afar, with it’s apparent flair that draws inspiration from the Day of the Dead, but I never actually got around to it. With its release on to Android, I was looking forward to sinking my teeth into it.

In this game, players will be assigned a random character out of a pool of six possibilities, who have been transported into a sprite filled, two dimensional world. Once assigned a character, players will meet a mysterious samurai who will teach you how to wage war, and ultimately how to win the game.
