DUBAKISoft has just released a new game, called Monster Doors. The idea of the game is simple, where players assume the roll of a Ghost Hunter and attempt to stem the flood of monsters, in 3D. The Ghost Hunter waits at the bottom of the screen, with his/her back to you, facing the top of the screen.

Ever win a prize from a claw machine, while at a carnival or amusement park? Me neither. But apparently it makes for a fun game on mobile platforms, as Game Circus LLC’s Prize Claw has seen over twenty five million downloads.
[UPDATED: Released] Square Enix releases teaser video for Heavenstrike Rivals, global release coming later this month
Square Enix has partnered with Mediatonic (creators of Amateur Surgeon) to release a new game called Heavenstrike Rivals, that we already reported on previously. This game, designed by both companies with a single player campaign and multiplayer competition in mind, has just released a teaser video for those of us that don’t yet have access to the game; they’re currently in the middle of a soft launch with the global release scheduled for later this month.
Creative Mobile, the creators of racing game Nitro Nation, have released a sizable update for the game. For starters, there’s a new mechanic who can both create and upgrade blueprints. Upgrades now are done instantly, and at no cost. Repairs for blown engines are also instant, but continue to cost. And both of those no longer require a mechanic. Cars can also be traded in for one of the following three: cash, a booster package that’s random, or an upgrade kit for cars that are racing class.
Released by Aratog Games, Crazy Sapper 3D is (according to them) the “spiritual successor to the classic Minesweeper that came preinstalled on every Windows machine from 3.1 until 8. And taking a peak at the video, it doesn’t appear to be far off that mark.
Released by Ultrateam, Ultraflow is now out. This game is a fairly strait foward puzzle game, where players attempt to move a smaller disc into a larger one that’s located elsewhere on the board. There’s a monochromatic feel to each board, with simple visuals that are largely comprised of lines, and simple geometric shapes.
So I’ve had this on my chest for a long time, and I think it’s time I unload. I’m not convinced everyone will agree with me, but hear me out. I think Android gaming has problem with the number of games that are offered for free with IAPs, though I *suspect* iOS does as well (See here). And I want to say this at the outset: I don’t hate all IAPs. Paying a set amount once to unlock full content (gaming or otherwise) is just fine me with, as is a running subscription (Netflix, MLB At Bat, etc). My objection comes from how many games are attempting to monetize by applying scammy IAPs, and it’s out of control.
Announced last August, Games Workshop’s latest Warhammer 40k game to be released on Android, courtesy of Complex Games, has finally arrived. Officially titled The Horus Heresy: Drop Assault, this is an RTS-style game set in the Warhammer 40k universe.
From the makers of Kingdom Corps, Aiming Global Service Inc., comes Tactics: Conqueror’s War (TCW). TCW is a card-based, capture the flag style game, where players attempt to capture castles and fortresses that sprawled over a map. Players will build their decks, comprised of character cards, through “fusion” (this wasn’t explained in the presser) and dungeon exploration.
Joycity, the makers of Gunship Battle, have announced that they’ve added a significant update to their game. In this update, they’ve added options beyond the gyro/tilt controls that it has, now totaling four different types, including a virtual D-Pad and two other unspecified types.
