Released by Kurdexum, Desulter is a new timing-based, arcade game, that’s been released on to the Android platform. In this game, players will be looking to move a small orange square through a series of obstacles. The obstacles come in a variety shapes, such as circles,or squares, and are both hollow in the middle, as well as containing openings.

Released by IceSpark, LinkWords is a puzzle game that’s recently been released on Android. In this game, players will look at a board of jumbled letters, and seek out words, a la Word Searches that can still be found in newspapers and activity books. Players will be given a square that is populated with a grid of letters.
Durango is an upcoming MMO that’s in a limited beta, and they gave out only 25,000 keys for people to use. We got a few of them here, so what we’re posting is a small collection of our initial impressions of the game, after we spent some time with it. For the uninitiated, the game is themed around a world populated with dinosaurs and the people that are warped in to it, and are forced into somewhat starting over, by making clothing from leaves and tools from bone or stone.
In other board gaming news, Pandemic is currently on sale for a limited time. In this game, two to four players are doing everything they can to stop an outbreak of a pandemic disease from wiping out humanity. One of the many twists in this game is that there are multiple diseases that are all spreading concurrently, though in different regions of the globe. Players work cooperatively in this game, to try to kill off all four diseases and and hopefully avoid the multiple loss conditions that the game presents which include too man outbreaks, running out of player cards, and so on.
Twilight Struggle is one of the best board games ever to be created. Fortunately for us, it’s now been ported over to Android. In this game, players will be assuming control of either the US, or the Soviet Union, in a bid for global hegemony, during the Cold War. Players will work their way through rounds, that are focused on each of the four main decades that contained the Cold War.
Released by Vblank Etnertainment Inc, Retro City Rampage DX is a brawler that’s recently been released on to Android. In this game, players will assume the role of a thug who’s looking for work, and referred to as “The Player”. This begins in the city of Theftopolis, back in 1985, with The Player’s first job being a henchman for an organized crime outfit, which lasts until a particular bank robbery goes south.
Oceanhorn is a multi-platform adventure game that’s just been released on to Android. In this game, players will assume the role of a young boy whose father has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. There are a pair of clues left behind though: a necklace from the boy’s mother, and a journal.
Set during the Iranian, 1979 Revolution: Black Friday is game where players are caught up in the tumult of the infamous Black Friday. In this game, players will be assuming the role of one Reza Shirazi, who is a photographer that returns to Iran during the revolution, only to get caught up in what’s happening.
Fans of Tetris might want to check out this game. Dubbed TwinTrix, it takes the idea of using shapes made of blocks to complete lines, but turns it into something a bit more competitive, as it’s designed with two players in mind and is formatted in a split screen fashion. The way it’s designed is that shapes of a wide variety are comprised of the colorful squares that we’re all familiar with.
Released by Gambitious Digital Entertainment, RunGunJumpGun has now been ported over to Android, from Steam. In this game, players will be in control of a character (dubbed the “scavenger”) is looking to complete each of the game’s 120 levels. Each of these levels contains a certain amount of “atomiks” that players can try to collect, while finishing the level.
