FCC E-filing yielded up some new information and photos on what appears to be a new Shield handheld. In the letter to the FCC from NVIDIA they designate it a Portable Gaming Device, with the type designation P2523. It will feature micro SD card expansion, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and charge via mini-USB.

War Wings, the WWII aerial dogfight game, will be heading to new regions in the next few months. They’ll be opening the game for North America, the UK, and Russia. This title has great reception so far and I’m excited to see the release expanded.
Com2us hit Soul Seeker has been a mainstay on Google Play for a while now, and it’s just been refreshed with a hefty content update for the new year. It’s absolutely a pay to win title and as addictive as all hell, but why say that like it’s a bad thing? With the huge number of downloads and mostly positive reviews, it’s well liked.
One Piece fans, gather round. Bandai Namco has opened pre-registration for their new release, ONE PIECE Thousand Storm, a 3D Action RPG. Registration confers in-game rewards upon release, with confirmed bonus items being made available at 50k and 100k registrants.

Reach Robotics debuted their Augmented Reality game Mekamon today at CES. It features premium gaming robots that battle in both physical and virtual worlds. They’re currently available at MekaMon.com for $329, or $599 for a pair.
Merge VR steps into the augmented reality ring, offering a standalone toy known as the Holo Cube. The two-part setup consists of the Merge VR headset and the cube itself, a simple block that acts as the focus for the program.
Mirabook, Developed by French start up Miraxess, expresses their ability to “turn your smartphone into a laptop”. Whether they’ll meet with any degree of success remains to be seen, but the concept and the execution look interesting.
With the new ZenFone AR, it’s all in the name. Augmented reality is the wave of now, and this new offering from Asus is designed for use with Google’s augmented reality setup, Tango.
RCA is trying to appeal to a wider customer base this year, evidenced by their two new tablets at CES. Dubbed the Voyager III and the Horizon 17, they aim to strike a balance between price and function. So does everyone else, so they need to hit a very small sweet spot.
