The top Android gaming story this week: An Iron Marines expansion is on the way
This week, Ironhide Studios revealed that work on an Iron Marines expansion is well underway. We’re not exactly sure what to expect, but a taster has just arrived on Google Play.
It features four new missions, two new premium heroes, and a bunch of bug fixes and improvements. Go and check it out right now by grabbing Iron Marines on Google Play.
Pre-registration is up for Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition
Final Fantasy XV is headed to Android as a Pocket Edition, and apparently it will be as close to the original as possible. The same characters, plot, and environments will feature, just in chibi form.
If Square Enix manage to pull it off, we’ll be seriously impressed. In the meantime, go and pre-register for it on Google Play.
Fallout Shelter Online is in development for China
Fallout Shelter Online is currently in development at Shanda Games for a China release, but we’re not sure if it will come west. It’s basically the same game with online and social features.
That includes multiplayer raids, guilds, and PvP. Read all about it in our proper story, the link to which is above.
Worms, Out There!, and more awesome Android games were on sale
Worms 3 is the only game still on sale (at the time of writing) but we’re obliged to fill you in on all of the big stories nonetheless. This week, Out There!, Dungeon Rushers, Worms 3, and Iron Marines were all on sale.

Aion Tempest, an upcoming prequel to the PC MMORPG, was announced for Android
NCSoft announced this week that a prequel to the PC MMORPG is coming soon to Android. It’s called Aion Tempest, and it’s set 900 years before the events of the original.
Not much else is known about it at this point, except that it looks strikingly similar to the PC game. You can learn more by reading our article above or watching the introduction trailer below.
