The Volkayno update of Dig It has added a ton of new content, including the Dig It Magma Shovel! Aside from having a very on-theme name, is it any good? That’s what this guide is here to talk about.

Dig It Magma Shovel Guide
First, I’ll go through the stats and then how you can obtain it.
Magma Shovel Stats
Let’s take a look at the stats to see how good the shovel is.
- Strength: 45
- Stamina Loss: 10%
- Loot Luck: 25%
- Control: 35%
- Stability: 35%
- Precision: 35%
- Max Weight: 7500 KG
If you’re in the early to mid stages of gameplay, the Magma Shovel is a good option. Although the luck is quite low in comparison to some of the other shovels available (which are also cheaper!), it has good stats in control, stability, and precision. If you have some spare cash, it’s worth looking into.
How To Get The Magma Shovel
You can purchase the Magma Shovel from the new Volkayno area, which is located near Nookville. To get here, you’ll need a boat, which you can purchase and spawn from any boat NPC. Hop into your boat and follow the red waypoint marker that says ‘Volkayno’ on your screen to help you get there.
On arrival, walk straight until you see the Magma Shovel leaning against the rocks on the left-hand side, opposite the Evil Merchant NPC. You can buy the Magma Shovel for 67,500D$. Keep in mind that you must be at level 30 or higher to purchase this shovel. If it’s one you want but you aren’t at the required level, keep digging and come back later!
