The Curse is coming, and lots of strange creatures are wriggling out of the depths. It seems like some even got into the new AFK Mine, as there are weird little monsters like the Fisch Nightmare Larva within, waiting to be found. Fortunately, the do make pretty good fish bait.

Okay, first let’s explain what this thing is. Then we can explain how to get it.
About The Nightmare Larva
The Nightmare Larva is a new type of bait available in Fisch as of the Curse update. It has the following bait stats.
- Preferred Luck: 120 (Though no fish prefer it just yet.)
- Universal Luck: 35
- Resilience: 25
- Lure Speed: 25
While it doesn’t have any species that prefer it at the current update, this bait is still pretty handy, as it gives a pretty good boost to most stats, and works as a general buff to whatever rod you happen to be using.
How To Get The Nightmare Larva
So, how do you get your hands on the Nightmare Larva? You do nothing at all! Well, maybe you do a little bit.
You can find this new bait via the new AFK Mine. It is one of the various possible prizes available. You roll for a prize every minute or so while in the Mine. You might receive nothing, though you could receive any number of rewards, including the Nightmare Larva! We suggest just heading to the AFK section and leaving it to tick away. Bring friends if you can, as this increases your Luck, and your chances of getting a decent prize… and we’d call some special bait a decent prize.
