Whether you’re after the Rainbow Cluster Rod or simply want to see a rainbow, you’ll need to get the Fisch Rainbow Totem, but it’s easier said than done. We’ll explain how to get it and what it does.

How to Get The Fisch Rainbow Totem
The only way to get the Rainbow Totem is by completing an Angler Quest. It is one of the rewards you get after completing an Angler Quest, but you only have around a 3.20% chance of obtaining the totem. That’s about 31 quests on average you need to complete until you get it!
If you didn’t know, there are Angler NPCs scattered around the map. When speaking to one, they will ask you to catch a specific fish, and once you bring that fish to them, you get a reward. The better rewards tend to be the rarer ones, such as the Rainbow Totem.
What Does The Rainbow Totem Do?
When you use this totem, you will activate Rainbow weather. This has around a 0.6% chance of happening naturally after Rain, too. During this event, the following things will happen:
- 10x luck.
- 15% chance for the Mythical Mutation.
- 5.5x value increase
- 5% chance for the Rainbow Cluster Mutation.
- 5x value increase
- 5% chance for Shiny and Sparkling mutations.
- 1.85x value increase
- Fish will sell for 1.5x more.
- The Rainbow Cluster Rod appears in the Castaway Cliffs, which you can buy for 250,000C$.
Keep in mind that this totem is a one-time use. Therefore, once you use it, it will disappear, and you need to obtain another one.
