How To Trade in Grow a Garden

Trading isn’t an implemented feature in Grow a Garden yet, so you’re encouraged to take caution when exchanging items with other players. The only way to share with another is through the gift feature, which pops up when you’re next to a player. Simply press and hold ‘E’ to offer another player the item in your hand.

How To Safely Trade

Since Grow a Garden doesn’t offer in-game trading, the Discord Server has a channel dedicated to exchanging. Simply write your offer and wait for another player to accept! After this, join each other in-game and Gift each other the promised items.

Of course, there is always the chance of another player lying and not handing anything over. I recommend combing through the chat for player vouches to ensure they’re trustworthy and stick to their promised trades.

What Can You Trade?

Unfortunately, you can’t gift other players Eggs, Gears, or Seeds. This limits your trade choices to hatched pets and produce.

With that, I’m trading a Hedgehog for any other pet from the new event… I hatched three of them… THREE! (Waiting for the day I’m lucky enough to hatch a Raccoon…)

Will Trading Be Added in the Future?

With how popular trading is amongst players in the server, it seems like only a matter of time before players can safely swap pets and plants without the risk of runners.
