Albion Online has finally revealed the launch date of its next big update, Abyssal Depths. Set to take players deep underground, Abyssal Depths arrives on Android on June 30th. The new content adds a new PvP experience and some fiery mounts.
What’s in Store?
The update is all about the Depths, a new extraction-style dungeon for two to three players. The dungeons throw you into close-quarters PvP where the risks are high, but your gear stays safe. Instead of dropping everything on death, the new Orange PvP rules mean you only lose what you’re carrying, not what you’re wearing.
That shift opens the door for more players to dip into PvP without worrying about losing months of progress. Once you’re sealed into a Depths run, you’ll be fighting demons and rival players for buffs, and collecting Souls. The final stretch includes a PvP fight over a locked vault before the whole place collapses.
The new mode is part of a new ecosystem for the Antiquarian’s Den. It’s a new underground base that links directly to the Depths, Corrupted Dungeons, and Hellgates. You can access it from all Royal Cities and Caerleon. It also comes with faster matchmaking and even a bank nearby.
The Den also introduces the Antiquarian, a shadowy figure tracking your progress. The more you fight in the Depths and other infernal areas, the higher your Antiquarian Standing. Catch a glimpse of the Abyssal Depths in Albion Online.
The rewards in the Den include a hell-themed avatar and avatar ring, and Demon Cape crests ranging from Tier 4 to Tier 8. There are also two unique spider mounts, the Hellspinner and the Soulspinner.

Abyssal Depths also adds two new Crystal Weapons. The Truebolt Hammer channels lightning through the ground, shielding nearby allies while electrocuting enemies. The Stillgaze Staff from the shapeshifter class lets you transform into a Crystal Cobra.
