ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition has released its third expansion map, Extinction. It’s out now on mobile via the Google Play Store, and it’s taking players back to a very broken version of Earth. Keep reading to know what the expansion has in store.

Extinction wraps up the main ARK story and brings a different kind of challenge. Especially if you’ve already powered through Scorched Earth and Aberration.
The water has dried up, and if you want loot, you’ll have to get creative. It’s Earth after everything went horribly wrong. And you’re just one survivor trying to uncover what led to the Ark system being created in the first place.
It’s a post-apocalyptic, Element-infested mess filled with freaky creatures. There are both robotic and organic rexes roaming around. Take a look at the Extinction expansion trailer from ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition.
They’ve also dropped a few updates alongside the new map. There’s a new Thick Skin insulation buff you can grab, which helps with survival.
In multiplayer PVE, some creatures will now wander from camped spots to stop griefing. Lastly, they’ve also limited how many light sources you can place to cut down on spammy builds.

ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition brings all the big expansions like Genesis Part 1 and 2. If you’re not looking to get all the expansions, you can still grab maps and features individually.
If you’re on the monthly Ark Pass, Extinction is already part of the deal. And so are all other future expansions that they will drop. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store and dive into the new map.
