NEOWIZ is gearing up for World Environment Day through its idle mobile game. Cats and Soup is dropping a series of summer updates, and the latest is the Slumbering Coral Sea. Known for its calm and cosy atmosphere, the game is swapping out forests and kitchens for seashells and coral reefs.
Cats and Soup Slumbering Coral Sea
A new Slumbering Coral Sea event will be available in Cats and Soup tomorrow. The event is Neowiz’s way of celebrating World Environment Day, which is on June 5th. You can log in to receive a summer dress and jellyfish accessories for your cats.
You can also unlock ocean-themed decorations like the Sea Dress and the Baby Mermaid Costume. The Underwater Palace is also live. It’s a fresh location filled with marine designs and a more vibrant colour palette than usual.
Meanwhile, the update also introduces a new limited-time cat, the Ocean Bloom Abyssinian. With its pastel sea-inspired colours, it’s one of the most adorable and prettiest in the game till now.
There Are More Events
The Baby Kitty Travel Destination event is now live and will continue until June 29th. It lets you collect Travel Destination Photo Pieces by participating in the in-game event gacha.
With enough event currency, you can unlock six temporary destinations. There are unique spots like the Woodland Library of Mystery and the Venetian Gondola.
You can also decorate your minirooms with coral, pink beach accessories, and other summer-ready furniture. Two new background music tracks are also part of the update, available in exchange for event currency.
To go with the underwater theme, the Little Trunk Shop has opened a new season. It has around 300 new resources for you to gather. And starting June 5th, a login event kicks off. It offers rewards such as jellyfish and sunglasses accessories.
