Dead on Arrival 2 closed beta ends, game launched as temporary limited release. Ouya version confirmed coming soon.

Since the middle of July we have been partnered up with N3V Games to be the official hosts for the closed beta for their upcoming game Dead on Arrival 2. Well the closed beta has officially come to a close after all this time and now the game has officially been released in a location-specific soft launch, making the game now available to residents to Australia and New Zealand.

Dead of Arrival 2, for those of you unfamiliar with this game, is a zombie survival game that is bigger in all aspects than the original. There is pretty much more of everything in this sequel – more guns and items, more zombies, more locations and improved graphics. There is also a new batch of achievements to earn and other goodies to unlock as well.

Dead on Arrival 2 Features:

– Fast paced survival action mayhem against massive waves of the undead
– Fight alone or as a team in 4-man multiplayer mode
– Intuitive dynamic thumbstick controls for walking, running, aiming and shooting
– Unlock new areas containing deadlier weapons to help you stay alive
– Use powerful weapons to take down Special Infected zombie mutations
– Search for the “random box” and destroy your enemies with the most powerful guns
– Upgrade weapons, armor and ammo at any time
– Unlock powerful MODS to increase power and improve your survival chances
– Full 3D action with the most advanced gory effects

There also happens to be a 4-player co-op multiplayer mode where you and up to three additional friends can join together to hopefully live longer. Android gamers who use controllers will be happy to know that Dead on Arrival 2 supports pretty much every controller available, from an Xbox360 controller to the MOGA and everything in between.

While this game will be available for all devices when it is released, or at least the ones that can support the visuals, Tegra 4 device owners will be getting extra eye candy and effects to enjoy. Ouya owners will be pleased to know that Dead on Arrival 2 will also be arriving for the Android-powered console in the near future as well. When the game goes live as a full worldwide release, we will post an update.
