Good news for mobile gamers! Square Enix is returning to one of its most iconic crossover series with Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy. It will be a free-to-play mobile game arriving on Android and iOS in 2026. They’ve also opened registration for an Android closed beta test for Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy.
When is the Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy Android Closed Beta Test?
The Android closed beta test runs from November 6th to November 14th, 2025. Players in the United States and Canada can sign up now as registrations are open until October 28th.
During the CBT, play sessions are scheduled daily between 7:00 p.m. and 12:59 a.m. (PST). On November 6th, Square Enix will also host a special raffle event through the official Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy social media accounts.

What’s the game’s narrative?
It builds on the legacy of the Dissidia Final Fantasy series, known for bringing together warriors from across generations of Final Fantasy games. The latest chapter is a 3v3 team boss battle arena where two squads fight side by side against roaming monsters.
The story moves away from the traditional fantasy settings of the series and drops right into modern-day Tokyo. A massive crystal suddenly appears in the city, glowing blue and becoming an everyday part of life until a sinister energy begins to corrupt it.
That corruption spawns terrifying creatures, plunging the city into panic. Amid all this, mysterious fighters surface, battling the monsters before vanishing suddenly. Locals come to know them as Ghosts, uncertain whether they are saviours or something more otherworldly.
