Futuristic racer Repulze from Pixelbite Games to hit Android in early 2013

For all racing fans out there, hold your breath as Repulze, a WipEout-esque futuristic racer, is due to be available to Android devices early next year. Developed by Pixelbite Games, the same guys that brought us the Reckless Racing series, the game will feature some glorious visuals and adrenalin-pumping, high-speed racing action.

It is not merely another rehash of the same formula populated by WipEout – instead, the developers claim that Repulze takes the genre to a whole new level. There is an element of polarity change involved in the game for example. There will also be nine levels, six hovercrafts and 10 ranks to climb in Repulze.

Looking at the teaser trailer, the gameplay looks to be fluid, and the graphics stand out too. All in all, it looks like a title worth looking out for in the near future. We reached out to Pixelbite to get some more info on the game, but they couldn’t give a more exact date than “at the beginning of 2013”. Also, while not finalized, they’re looking at pricing the game for a buck.
