About a week ago we reported that Carmaggedon would be arriving on May 10th, 2013 onto Google Play. Well it seems Stainless Games wanted to get a jump start and have released the game a day early. True to their word as well, there is a full version of the game available on Google Play for free for the next 24 hours.
However, keep in mind that grabbing the promo copy of the game will also mean that once the 24 hours is up, the game will be removed from Google Play and you won’t be getting further updates. If you’re cool with that, you can download the promo version and start running over people right now. If you don’t know what this game is about, basically this is a racing game where you can earn bonus points for running over pedestrians.

Each car is outfitted with items to ensure maximum blood splattering to happen when you run over some innocent guy walking down the street. There is also an action replay system in place so you can watch how nicely those bodies bounce off of the hood of your car. Great for when you miss some of the action because you’re too busy concentrating on racing and actually hitting people.
If you’ve been waiting for this game to arrive, you are in luck since it is a day early. While there is the free promo version of Carmaggedon available, there is also the standard paid version available right now as well for $1.99. Basically it comes down to whether or not you want updates in the future.
