Mobile game developer Estoty has rolled out a new simulation title called I Am Airport Security. It continues Estoty’s broader I Am series, which includes I Am Monkey, I Am Bird, I Am Taxi Driver, I Am Security, and I Am Cat. Just another entry to its roster of role-based sandbox-style games on Android!

Are you Airport Security?

You’re in charge of an airport security checkpoint, where the central task is straightforward but demanding. You have to manage the inspection line, screen every traveller, and decide who proceeds to the boarding gate and who gets detained.

In I Am Airport Security, passengers queue up for review, each carrying luggage that may or may not conceal prohibited items. You also operate tools such as a metal detector and a baggage scanner to uncover hidden objects and verify belongings.

The tools help you prevent smugglers from slipping contraband through the checkpoint. Every decision affects who boards the flight. Ultimately, it’s all about scrutinising different types of passengers and making judgement calls based on inspection results.

But under the scanning bags and monitoring metal detectors, I Am Airport Security has a bunch of exaggerated and humorous interactions. You can X-ray a passenger’s body and even shave off a passenger’s beard and eyebrows during the inspection process.

The over-the-top mechanics are the classic light-hearted tone that the studio has explored in their earlier releases. And it works, too. Blending procedural checkpoint management with comedic elements is what makes it worth trying.

Will you get I Am Airport Security?

The game is now available on Android via the Google Play Store. It’s free to play with a few in-app purchases. The game acts more like a follow-up to the studio’s earlier release, I Am Security. If you haven’t tried any of their I Am games yet, you can give them a spin.
