LG begins teasing their upcoming Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core phone

Yesterday Qualcomm came out with a statement to confirm that their new Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip would be arriving in an upcoming LG Android phone. Now we have LG teasing us with a video regarding this same exact phone as well as giving us a bit more information about the hardware.

For those of you into gaming on your Android phone, whatever this LG phone turns out to be, one thing it will be is a pretty solid device for gaming. The Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core chip will be teamed up with Qualcomm’s new Adreno 320 GPU. It is also rumored to sport a 720p 4.7″ IPS screen, come with a 13MP camera and 2GB of RAM. While the CPU/GPU combo is confirmed, the rest of the specs are still categorized as a rumor although the screen and RAM fall right into place with previous “HD Phones” from LG.

Other than that and the fact that this unnamed LG phone will be released in Korea sometime in September with a worldwide roll-out coming shortly after, we don’t know a whole lot about this device right now. It should be interesting to see what specs it does come with which we are sure to find out real soon since the launch time is drawing near.
