OpenMicroWave brings the unofficial Morrowind Android port to Google Play

Morrowind Android

Thanks to a bunch of savvy mobile developers, Bethesda’s excellent Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind has been available on Android for some time.

However, it’s now easier than ever to grab the port, as the engine has been released on Google Play as OpenMicroWave.

OpenMicroWave makes running Morrowind on your Android easier than ever

You can’t simply download it and play Morrowind though, as you’ll need a fully licensed copy of it on your PC to get the game running on your phone.

But it does make shrinking the massive open world RPG onto your mobile a heck of a lot easier.

You’ll need a modern phone to run the game smoothly. The description doesn’t go into specifics, other than to say “a flagship phone is required”.

Hopefully you guys can help each other out in the comments by posting your experiences with various phones. That way we can figure out which are no good.

If you’d like to check it out, you can grab OpenMicroWave right now on Google Play.
