OUYA pre-orders outside of Kickstarter now up for $109, talks with Namco Bandai on the go and more

Another week has begun and with it comes some more OUYA news to roll around in and enjoy. First off pre-orders for OUYA units are now available outside of Kickstarter for those of you who didn’t drop some money on their campaign in order to get one early. Instead of the $99 price tag OUYA donators got their units for, pre-ordering now will set you back $109 instead ($119 for outside the US).

Following that news is word that Namco Bandai are in ‘active discussions’ with OUYA to bring games to the Android-based gaming console. It looks like the talks will be pretty successful and there is already a poll up where people can vote on what Namco Bandai games should arrive on OUYA over on Namco’s Facebook Page. Apparently, Pac-Man is going to be on OUYA whether you want it or not.

Lastly, the console itself will support up to four controllers. Extra controllers will be available for purchase and for those of you with limited edition OUYA units, you will be able to get matching ones as well instead of just the standard issue color scheme. It’s only Monday so expect more OUYA news to come out way throughout the week as usual. Delivery of OUYA is expected to start in April 2013 for pre-ordered units.
