If you’ve been following the site over the past month or two you’ve probably notices the odd article here and there about DroidMote and some of the different uses for this handy set of apps in terms of playing games. Well we have another great example, this time using the new DroidMote analog stick feature to play games like Grand Theft Auto 3.

The other day we posted about a sale Gameloft was planning to have this New Year’s Weekend where they would be putting all of their paid games on the Android Market on sale for a measly $0.99. Well the good news is the sale has started!
We see a lot of mesh-ups when it comes to mobile gaming as the lines between gaming genres can be more easily blended together. We have a new one where it is a blend of bowling and physics based gameplay with a little action / puzzle solving thrown in there just for good measure. This new game is called Bowling Wizards and yes, it has wizards.
So we had a fun little giveaway last week as we partnered up with Mobage to help promote their new Twitter account. All you had to do was follow both DroidGamers and Mobage’s new Twitter account and do a little tweet and you were entered. It’s time to pick the winners.
The Farm Frenzy series of games on Android have been rather popular in the past. Originally published by Herocraft, Alawar Entertainment has decided to publish their own games and now have finally released a new addition to the Farm Frenzy series called Farm Frenzy 3.
By now we are all used to the Xperia Play occasionally getting exclusive games. Sometimes they are temporary while others have been long one or even permanently exclusive for the Xperia Play. However, it really doesn’t get more exclusive than this when it comes to a new game for the Play called Pac-Man Kart Rally.
Not too long ago we talked about another retro-style RPG that would be landing on Android called Grinsia from developers Kemco Games. This game studios specializes in retro-style RPG titles that generally feature a lot of detail including little things like characters showing reactions to events in-game.
So we have been busy compiling a list of the best games to land on Android this year in various gaming genres such as RPG, FPS, RTS, Action, Puzzle and so on. The problem is there have been quite a few excellent games that have landed on our beloved OS that it is incredibly hard to pick one as Game of the Year.
Gameloft is never one to miss an opportunity to have a sale on their Android games so it really wasn’t a surprise when they sent us an email telling us of their upcoming sale where all their paid titles on the Android Market would be marked down to the low price of $0.99.
Lonely Sock might not be a name you are familiar with and probably for good reason, they are fairly new. However new they may be though I’m guessing we are going to see some pretty good titles coming out way from the Lonely Sock considering the team of eight is made up of industry veterans, mostly from Disney Mobile and EA.
