Halfbricks upcoming action game called Machine Gun Jetpack will actually not be called that at all. Instead the crew over at Halfbrick has decided to change the name to something else although similar. So what is the new name? Jetpack Joyride is what this game will now be called.

We already know that in September Angry Birds Seasons will be getting an update that revolves around the Chinese Moon Festival but what about the other two versions of Angry Birds? Rio just got updated with the Airfield Chase update but we already have clues as to the next one after that. Same with regular Angry Birds.
Good news today for anyone who is already play the Facebook version of King’s Bounty: Legions which we reported on yesterday. You may remember that in our original post that we reported that it would not be compatible with the Facebook version. Well that isn’t the case it seems.
A big update landed on the Android Market for the hit indie game from YoYo Games called They Need To Be Fed. One main feature added to the update is support for the Xperia Play controls but that is definitely not all. More content came to the game as well.
Welcome to the second part of a double shot today of Android Gaming News. There was so much news last week that our friend AndroidAtNight had to make back-to-back episodes of AGN. While one focused on a lot of balls, this episode goes over some of the other big Android gaming news items.
We have a few new hidden gems to tell you about already this week and Sandago by Hot ‘Tato Studios is one of them. Sandago is a new take on the classic “match blocks of the same color and then tap to remove” type of games except for one thing, there are no blocks.
There are only a few entertaining instances so far where a developer has actually called their game one of the worse games made. One was that Lame Castle game that got rather popular even though the developers said it sucked. There is also Paper Wars which the developers call “the worst game ever made”.
The original King’s Bounty game has been played on the PC for quite some time now and has gotten quite the following. The sequel, King’s Bounty: Legions, was released as a Facebook game not too long ago and Nival Interactive will be bringing it to mobile including Android.
Cave, who have been developing games for mobile since 1998 and worked on some major non-mobile games as well such as a version of Sim City for EA, has announced that they will start bringing some of their iOS and social games over to Android.
Amazon has a nice tower defense game up for free today for those of you who can access the Amazon App Store for Android called ZDefense. This game by ZStudio is a nice retro-style tower defense game that is usually priced at $1.99 but for today you can grab it for free.
