Best Buy seems to be getting into the Android tablet scene in a rather big way. They already have a decent selection of tablets available and the pre-order for the Acer Iconia dual-core tablet just went up today. Now word is that the Toshiba dual-core Android tablet will also be sold at Best Buy making that the second Tegra tablet for them.

Dungeon Defenders: Second Wave now available for the Xperia Play. PvP plus Xperia Play controls = win
Be jealous of current Xperia Play owners right now. Go on, we will wait for you to let it build up inside. For those of you who are Dungeon Defenders fans, Second Wave is now available on the Android Market but only for the Xperia Play right now. The sequel to the first Dungeon Defenders is still powered by our friend, Unreal Engine.
A lot of gamers use Teamspeak for talking with teammates or guildies, depending on the game you play, for a lot of reasons whether it is to plan a raid or, more often than not, provide better teamwork in FPS (first-person shooter) games. We also know a lot of people want a mobile version, especially for Android.

In what is probably the strangest yet one of the more entertaining mash-ups of gaming genres out for… well any platform, DJ Rivals brings the world of DJ battles to Android and shoves it in a world of location-based RPG. Wrap some interesting cartoon-like graphics around this melting pot of gaming genres and it gets pretty interesting.
Perhaps it was the out pour of gamers and developers on Android going “really? REALLY?” that prompted some new information about the next Unreal Engine and it’s developer kit in terms of Android support. Yesterday word spread that Unreal Engine would not be supporting Android for a few ‘reasons’.
Back during GDC 2011 we got to see a demo loop of a water racing game called Riptide GP. Developed by a 2-man team named Vector Unit, Riptide GP features some incredible graphics and physics in-game from what we witnessed at GDC. The good people over at Vector Unit sent us some information about Riptide GP along with some great shots.
Gameloft is turning 1yr old today regarding jumping onto the Android platform with their game releases. To celebrate, they are hosting an interesting giveaway for free games. Honeycomb has been out for awhile now, about a month or so, and yet the source code has not been released to the public. As of late, rumors of Google tightening it’s control over the Android OS have been floating around, mostly directed at manufacturers and their user interface overlays that they stick on their devices most of the time.
“Earth and Legend” is a high-definition full 3D RPG coming to many platforms, including Android. As more and more information gets released the game just sounds even better and better.
