While we know Rovio have been hard at work with the upcoming Angry Birds Seasons update for Valentine’s Day which will be out either just before or on Feb. 14, 2011 as well as a new version of the game themed around the upcoming Rio movie, we now may have pictures of what could be Angry Birds 2.

Unity3D has been focusing a lot on being completely cross-platform compatible and as of late, a lot more mobile focused especially with their upcoming 3.2 update and having been Android compatible from the beginning. This little display is a prime example if what we could see popping up in cafes in the future at the rate things are going.
Zaxis games have been developing titles for iOS for awhile and it appears they are getting ready to make the jump to Android as well starting with their game called Angry Viking as their first release. Windows Mobile users have been enjoying smooth PS1 emulation for a while now, while Android users are stuck with PSX4DROID(v2) which is notoriously buggy, and whose developer charges for updates. Developer Schtruck has promised Android support for his rock-solid emulator in “a few days.”
Dungeon Defenders: First Wave has a new update coming and will be version 3.0. While Trendy Entertainment is keeping some of the update quiet along with the official changelog due to waiting on Apple’s submission process to go through, we do know a few things that will be in the update as well as a few rumors.
Well this came out of left field. Rovio just announced another version of Angry Birds which is slated to be released onto all App stores in March. Called Angry Birds Rio, it is a combined product of Rovio and 20th Century Fox working together to bring an Angry Birds game themed around the upcoming movie “Rio”.
It’s starting to look like Asphalt 6 is gearing up for release onto Android. Why do we say this? It seems as though Gameloft is doing their usual habit of slowly leaking out purchase pages and whatnot to test them out before they release the game associated with that page. Asphalt 6 is starting to make an appearance now.
Doodle Jump’s developers, Lima Sky, sign agreement with Universal and Illumination Entertainment for… a bonus level?
Just in case you are still thinking that mobile gaming is a bit of a fad, it seems that it is a lot more influential then some people might think. In an agreement with Universal and Illumination Entertainment, Doodle Jump developers Lima Sky will add an Easter-themed bonus level to the game in an upcoming update.
Our friends over at OrangePixel have been busy adding new content to their games and the latest to get a big boost in features is MiniArmy. If you haven’t played MiniArmy yet, you can check out our review but in a nutshell, it is a revised version of the classic Snake game in a way that only OrangePixel can do it.
