Phobies has dropped a major update titled All Hallows’ Masquerade Soiree, turning October into the creepiest season. Kicking off on October 1st, it’s bringing a flood of new content, a limited-time Halloween event, and more.
What does All Hallows’ Masquerade Soiree bring to Phobies?
The update adds nine new Phobies, making it the largest single drop of monsters so far. The lineup includes The Butlers, a trio of undead servants that grow stronger when used together. Alongside them, there’s Mozzy, a vampiric flyer that drains life.
The Preacher is another one whose aura strips away abilities across the board. Octo-Buddy and Buzzkill round out the release with more unique powers. To help collectors who want the full synergy of The Butlers, seasonal offers will make it easier to gather them without leaving things up to chance.
Apart from the new monsters, five maps are also being rotated into play. Two large stages are themed after a city and a cemetery. Two smaller maps feature dangerous tiles, including poison pools, healing spots, and lava hazards. The last map sets up matches that are more like puzzles.
The All Hallows’ Masquerade Soiree event runs through October in Phobies. Leaning heavily into an undead theme, it has an exclusive Phobie up for grabs. This Phobie won’t be available in packs for three months.
Love Coffee?
If you play Phobies, you know that Coffee is already a core part of the game. The latest update further increases its importance. You can now use it to level up any monster up to your vault’s average level. Diamond Jacks will now always come with Coffee as well, with collecting the ninth central Jack granting 20 Coffee outright.
