Popular Japanese manga / anime Bleach is getting its own mobile game called BLEACH Brave Souls. This game has already been released in Japan for a bit now (July 2015), netting itself over a ridiculous 700 million downloads already. While a Western release was never announced with the Japanese release, the developers have decided to bring the game to the rest of the world.
Update: January 14th, 2015 9:10am PST: For those of you who are a fan of Bleach and have been waiting for this game, Bleach Brave Souls is now available for download off of Google Play for free. We’ve added the link to the game at the bottom of this article.
BLEACH Brave Souls is a 3D action game that follows the story and characters of Bleach. Players will be forming teams of three from familiar characters before embarking on a variety of quests. Combat comes in the form of hack-and-slash action. Players will also be able to customize their warriors by leveling, ascending, training, and linking, making your warriors however you want. The game also features weekly leagues where you can put up your warriors against other teams for exclusive, special prizes.
BLEACH Brave Souls Features:
– 3D graphics and simple controls make for free-flowing and fast-paced hack-and-slash action.
– Unleash each Bleach character’s unique special moves to carve your way to victory. Special moves are fully voiced by the original Japanese anime voice actors.
– Combine your favorite characters into teams of three. You can even make combinations of characters you would never see in the original story.
– Follow the Bleach story from the moment Rukia and Ichigo first meet. Develop your characters as you complete quests that recreate pivital scenes from the story.
– Compete in weekly leagues. Pit your best warriors against other players’ teams and vie for the top spot.
Pre-registration for BLEACH Brave Souls is now available through the PreLaunch.me platform. While there will be rewards for pre-registering, those haven’t been fully confirmed as of yet. As for pricing and a launch date, neither of those have been announced as of yet. When they do, we will post an update. In the meantime, you can check out some gameplay in the video below.
