At E3 2012 Qualcomm, along with qualifying participants, will be sitting down for at least 26 hours playing Android games on a Samsung Galaxy 8.9 tablet.

Aside from being a part of this world record breaking event, participants will also be eligible for a chance to grab up to $50,000 during the marathon. Some games that will be played during the marathon will come from developers such as Gameloft, Halfbrick, Sega and Glu. The marathon will happen on June 5th-6th but if you are in the area and want to try and participant in the marathon, try outs are being held on Tuesday May 22nd at the Lexington Social House in Hollywood, CA.

The top 50 gamers from the qualifying round will go on to be a part of the event at this year’s E3. If you do go and get qualified, let us know! We will be at E3 2012 reporting on all the Android gaming news and we will meet up with you while you game till your hands fall off.
